ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ, 29 ਜੁਲਾਈ 2025 – ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਹਰਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੈਂਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਜੰਗ ਇੱਕ ਅਹਿਮ ਮੋੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਬਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿੱਢੀ ਗਈ “ਯੁੱਧ ਨਸ਼ਿਆ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ” ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੇ ਤੀਜੇ ਪੜਾਅ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਨੌਵੀਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਰ੍ਹਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਨਿਵੇਕਲਾ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਰੋਕਥਾਮ ਪਾਠਕ੍ਰਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਇੱਥੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਵਨ ਵਿਖੇ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਹਰਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੈਂਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਕੌਮੀ ਕਨਵੀਨਰ ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਕੇਜਰੀਵਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ 1 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਫਾਜ਼ਿਲਕਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਅਰਨੀਵਾਲਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਸੂਬਾ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਰੋਕਥਾਮ ਪਾਠਕ੍ਰਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਅਨੋਖਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਨੋਬਲ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਜੇਤੂ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਅਭਿਜੀਤ ਬੈਨਰਜੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਜੇ-ਪਾਲ ਸਾਊਥ ਏਸ਼ੀਆ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪਾਠਕ੍ਰਮ ਵਿਚ 35-ਮਿੰਟ ਦੇ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਜੋ 27 ਹਫ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਪੰਦਰਵਾੜੇ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ੀ, ਕੁਇੱਜ਼, ਪੋਸਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਇੰਟਰਐਕਟਿਵ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ।
ਬੈਂਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ 3,658 ਸਕੂਲ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਨੌਵੀਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਰ੍ਹਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਲਗਭਗ ਅੱਠ ਲੱਖ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਸ਼ਕਤ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ 6,500 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਇਹ ਪਹਿਲ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਖੋਜ ਆਧਾਰਿਤ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਮੋਹਰੀ ਵਿਵਹਾਰ ਵਿਗਿਆਨੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਕਸਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸਾਲ 2024-25 ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਦੇ 78 ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ 9600 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਰੈਂਡਮ ਟਰਾਇਲਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਮੁਲਾਂਕਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦੇ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਏ।
