ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਫਿਲਮ ਅਤੇ ਟੀਵੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਮੁਕੁਲ ਦੇਵ ਦਾ ਬੀਤੀ ਦੇਰ ਰਾਤ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਨੇ 54 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖਰੀ ਸਾਹ ਲਿਆ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਆਈ, ਫਿਲਮ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਗ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਦੌੜ ਗਈ।
ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਸਨ ਆਫ ਸਰਦਾਰ’ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਕੁਲ ਦੇਵ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਵਿੰਦੂ ਦਾਰਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਚੈਨਲ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੁਕੁਲ ਕੁਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਲਾਜ ਅਧੀਨ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਲਈ ਅਲਵਿਦਾ ਕਹਿ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਵਿੰਦੂ ਦਾਰਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ- ਮੁਕੁਲ ਹੁਣ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡੇ ਪਰਦੇ ‘ਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਖ ਸਕਣਗੇ। ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਮੁਕੁਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਅਲੱਗ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਘਰੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਮੁਕੁਲ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ।
