ਖਨੌਰੀ, 26 ਨਵੰਬਰ 2024 – ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਮੋਰਚਾ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਸਰਵਣ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਧੇਰ ਨੇ ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਗੂ ਜਗਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਡੱਲੇਵਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਲਈ ਮਰਨ ਵਰਤ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਖਨੌਰੀ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਤੋਂ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿਚ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਗੂ ਡੱਲੇਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਫਸਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਮੁੱਲ (ਐੱਮਐੱਸਪੀ) ਦੀ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਗਾਰੰਟੀ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਮਰਨ ਵਰਤ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਡੱਲੇਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਰਤੀ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹਨ।
ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮੋਰਚਾ (ਗੈਰ-ਸਿਆਸੀ) ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਮੋਰਚਾ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਫਸਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਮੁੱਲ (ਐੱਮ.ਐੱਸ.ਪੀ.) ਦੀ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਗਾਰੰਟੀ ਸਮੇਤ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਮਰਨ ਵਰਤ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਹੋਰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ।
ਕਿਸਾਨ 13 ਫਰਵਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਸ਼ੰਭੂ ਅਤੇ ਖਨੌਰੀ ਸਰਹੱਦਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਧਰਨੇ ਲਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਜਦੋਂ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਬਲਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵੱਲ ਮਾਰਚ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
