ਉਫ..! ਅਜੋਕੇ ਦੌਰ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਧ-ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸੀ ਲੋਕ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਬਣਨ ਲੱਗਿਆਂ ਦੇਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਾਉਂਦੇ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਇਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਦਰਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਸਬੂਤ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਮਾਮਲਾ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਧੀ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਹੋਣ ‘ਤੇ ਨਵਜਾਤ ਬੱਚੀ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ‘ਤੇ ਤਿਲਕ ਲਗਾਇਆ, ਨਵੇਂ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪੁਆਏ ਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਜਿਊਂਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਵਿਚ ਦੱਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਉਸ ਨਜਵਾਤ ਬੱਚੀ ਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਕਿਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਟੋਏ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਰਹਿ ਗਿਆ।
