ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ, 14 ਨਵੰਬਰ 2024 – ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ‘ਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਇੰਸਪੈਕਟਰ ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਨੇ ਖ਼ੁਦ ਨੂੰ ਗੋਲੀ ਮਾਰ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਦਾ ਲੜਕਾ ਵੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੰਸਪੈਕਟਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਹੈ। ਗੋਲੀ ਲੱਗਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਅਮਨਦੀਪ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਹਨ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਸੀਬੀਆਈ ਕੇਸ ਅਤੇ ਐਨਕਾਊਂਟਰ ਦਾ ਕੇਸ ਵੀ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਗੋਲੀ ਮਾਰ ਲਈ।
